The Frisco Police Department said that someone was arrested in connection with a shooting that killed someone on Wednesday night.
A Walmart parking lot on Eldorado Parkway and FM 423 was where police were called. There, they found 22-year-old Ja’Karrion Craig with gunshot wounds to his foot and chest.
Even though people worked quickly to save him, Craig died from his injuries at a nearby hospital.
Detectives stayed at the crime scene all night to look at security video and talk to witnesses.
They quickly picked out a suspect. It was easy for Frisco SWAT to arrest the suspect at their home this morning.
The Frisco Police Department said in a statement that this event seems to be one-time and does not pose a continuing threat to the public. Information about the suspect’s name has not been made public because the investigation is still going on.
